How we train our members
New Member Education
A 10-12-week curriculum that builds the foundation of a credit investor by exploring the different forms of credit investing, how to evaluate a business through a credit lens, how to read the risk spectrum across debt tranches, and how to build a credit model. By the end of NME, members will have a comprehensive understanding of the credit investing process: from sourcing, to underwriting, to pitching to the Investment Committee.
Investment Committee
After NME, students will have the opportunity to actively be involved through g-body and the Investment Committee (IC). Members will be grouped and assigned to different companies, and will be required to draft a credit pitch (memo and model) and pitch to IC. Top pitch teams will then present to our industry partners.
Professional Development
We will ensure every member is prepared for the recruitment process through resume and cover letter reviews, mock casing interviews, and networking tips. Our goal is for members to feel confident and prepared as they approach the recruitment and internship process.
